First Ski Base Jump Off Mt Hood (Mississippi Headwall)
After several months of work and one failed attempt, Asit Rathod and I finally did the first ski BASE jump off Mt Hood in Oregon. Asit has about 40 climbs on Mt Hood and was a great help to do the jump in perfect weather conditions. He is actually writing a book called “Faces of Mount Hood” that I highly recommend to anyone that wishes to climb, ski, hike, or base jump Mount Hood!
Check out the video of the jump and you can also view a live interview by clicking on the links below:

Nice work bro! Do you know if anyone else has done this since you did last year?
I just started jumping 7 months ago and have over 120 jumps, 70 of which were in the 2 weeks at Eloy. I spent a lot of time in the tunnel and training (both RW & Freefly). I learned how to ground launch recently from a buddy here in Portland and have done some speed flying near The Gorge and Pacific City, Or. I’m hoping to get into BASE this summer…you should email me sometime, or hit me up on Facebook. I’d be interested in checking out your spots in Washington.
Blue Skies!!!
